How the free trial works
Every install gets 14 days with every feature on. No card, no account. After that, drawing waits for a licence and your preferences are kept.
PenLayer’s trial starts the first time you open it and lasts 14 days. Every tool and setting is switched on, and you don’t need a card or an account.
During the trial
- Every tool and setting works.
- The menu bar menu shows how many days are left.
- Drawing works offline, so the trial doesn’t depend on a connection.
When the trial ends
On day 15, PenLayer asks for a licence before you can draw again. Your preferences are kept: shortcuts, toolbar position, palette and every other setting are still there when you enter a licence.
