Buy and activate a licence

Buy a plan on the pricing page, then click the pen in the menu bar, choose Enter licence… and paste your key. PenLayer checks it once and you’re done.

Buy a licence

1. Go to the pricing page and choose Annual or Lifetime.
2. Complete checkout. Payment is handled by Creem, our payment provider and reseller. We never see your card details.
3. After paying, you land on a thanks page that shows your licence key.

Your key is also in your receipt email from Creem. It can take a minute to arrive.

Activate it

1. Copy your licence key.
2. Click the pen in the menu bar and choose Enter licence…
3. Paste the key.

There’s no account and no sign-in. Activation needs an internet connection. After that, PenLayer works offline. See Use PenLayer offline.

What a key looks like

A key is five groups of five capital letters and digits:

ABCDE-FGHIJ-KLMNO-PQRST-UVWXY

PenLayer ignores extra spaces around the key and accepts lowercase letters. If it says “That doesn’t look like a licence key.”, check that you copied the whole key.

Lost your key?

It’s in your receipt email. You can also find it, along with your invoices, in Manage purchase at www.creem.io/my-orders/login. Sign in with the email you paid with.
